In November last year 3beat Records celebrate its 18th birthday. 3beat started off as a record shop, soon adding a label, a digital store and a label management company under its umbrella. The actual recording label started of in 1992 spawning the hits "Oceanic – Insanity" and "New Atlantic - I Know". In July 2007 3beat finally decided to go back to releasing records under its own identity and now has moved to work alongside Universal Music.
